Youth Mental Health Coalition Coordinator

Eli Crespo is the Youth Mental Health Coalition Coordinator. After graduating from Mount Holyoke College with her bachelor’s degree in psychology, she saw herself working with youth and adults to promote self-sufficiency and reduce mental health challenges. With so many years of experience as a peer leader in advocacy, workshop leadership, and guiding youth to break stereotypes in her community in Holyoke, Eli decided she wanted to be able to transform communities around her in a macro way. In her role as Youth Mental Health Coalition Coordinator, she works with youth directly to advocate and make policy changes in a community-driven workspace. She hopes that with all the hard work that the Youth Mental Health Coalition does, it can be implemented everywhere beyond Springfield to help make resources available to youth and adults, make a difference in minority communities, and promote youth mental health awareness.
