Youth Health Survey Initiative in Western MA
About the Initiative
Many communities across Western MA administer health surveys to better understand the experiences and behaviors of their youth. Since 2015, we have collaborated with Springfield Public Schools and other community partners to administer locally modified versions of the Youth Health Survey and Youth Risk Behavior Survey to 8th, 10th, and 12th-grade students enrolled in Springfield Public Schools. In 2024, we began to expand surveying to other communities in Hampden County.
Chicopee
Chicopee Public Schools began administering youth health surveys in 2024.
